HOW WE MAKE
THE SIGNAL.

Authorship, sources, AI assistance and corrections.

Published by Kooya

The Signal is published by Kooya, a Manila-based product and engineering studio. Its articles explain AI implementation, Philippine public programs and our own research. The organizational byline identifies the publisher responsible for this collection; it does not imply that a named specialist independently reviewed every article.

How AI is used

The Signal’s current publishing workflow uses AI agents to help find and compare sources, draft and revise articles, create conceptual illustrations, and run technical publication checks. Articles are AI-assisted and may be substantially AI-generated. A publication check is not the same as independent expert verification.

We do not assign fictional authors or credentials. If a named author or specialist reviewer contributes, their role should be stated on the relevant article. In the absence of that attribution, readers should not infer individual expert sign-off.

Sources and interpretation

Source-based claims link to a numbered source list, with citations beside the relevant passages. We prioritize original institutional publications and research papers. Our explanations, proposed evaluation methods and hypothetical examples are distinguished from reported findings.

A linked source does not establish a partnership, endorsement or project implementation. Where dates, application windows or program status matter, consult the current official source before acting. External pages may change after an article is published.

Our own research

Pino SI is Kooya’s Philippine AI research project. Coverage of it is our account of our own work, not independent reporting. SI expresses a superintelligence ambition; it is not a claim that this capability has been achieved.

Research notes distinguish planned experiments, reported resource counts and demonstrated results. Public aggregate figures retain their measured, estimated or pending labels. Private training-source identities are not disclosed.

Images and examples

The Signal’s illustrated article covers are AI-generated conceptual artwork using Kooya’s mascot. They are not photographs of government facilities, demonstrations of model performance or evidence of an operational deployment. Fictional scenarios illustrate a decision or research question.

Dates and corrections

Articles show a publication date and an updated date when substantive content changes. Formatting or navigation changes alone do not imply that the underlying research has been refreshed.

To flag an error, email hello@kooya.ph with the article URL, the passage in question and a supporting source. We can then investigate the specific claim. We do not promise a response deadline or imply a completed review before one has happened.
